According to the motto "This is England, where the only crime is to be Found Out" Stephen Fry's LATIN! or TOBACCO AND BOYS casts a glance behind the walls of a time-honoured institution: an English public school for boys.

This wry comedy about Latin declensions and sexual perversions alternately depicts two schoolmasters, Latin teacher Dominic Clarke and Herbert Brookshaw M.A., a senior master, in front of their class and in conversation with each other, thereby revealing their utterly peculiar attitudes towards education, didactics and moral values.

Stephen Fry (b. 1957) is a distinguished comedian and actor ("Black Adder", "Peter's Friends", "I.Q."), novelist ("The Liar","The Hippopotamus") and is Rector of Dundee University, Scotland.
